I thought this week we could do something fun and what’s more fun than doing a bookish tag! This tag is set up for the person to discuss three things within each category, hence the name 3 Bookish Things. I hope you enjoy!

1. 3 Read Once and Loved Authors

  1. TJ Klune
    • Ever since I read House in the Cerulean Sea I have fallen in love with the author and vow to read whatever this man writes!
  2. Sarah J Maas
    • I mean this goes without saying, we all know my favorite series of all time is Throne of Glass.
  3. Lucy Christoper
    • I first read Stolen by this author and I haven’t looked back since!

3 Series I binged

  1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
  2. Throne of Glass Sarah J Maas
  3. Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L Armentrout

3 Titles I’ve Watched but haven’t read

  1. You by Caroline Kepnes
  2. Bridgterton by Julia Quinn
  3. The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson

3 Current Favorite Covers

  1. My Darling Dreadful Thing by Johanna van Veen

2. House of Eclipses by Casey L. Bond

Look how freaking gorgeous and deadly this is! Right up my alley.

3.When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker

Every time I pass by this book in the bookstore I can’t help but pick it up!

3 Things I’ve Used as a Bookmark

  1. Receipt
  2. Plane Ticket
  3. Leaf

3 Unpopular Bookish Opinions

  1. I don’t care for Secret History by Donna Tartt
    1. Maybe it’s just literary fiction is not for me? I felt that this novel just went way over my head and I just didn’t understand what was going on.
  2. I love to reread books
    1. Some people truly feel that a book should only be read once. But I want to ask those people, do you only ever watch a show or movie once? Or listen to a song only once? You can gain so much appreciation and understanding when rereading a favorite novel or series!
  3. Audiobooks count as reading books!
    1. There, I said it. Audiobooks definitely count as reading even if you aren’t physically reading the book. You are still consuming the content just like anyone else would, so yes it does count!

3 Bookish Goals for the Year

  1. Read 60 books
  2. Finish the first draft of my novel (eek!)
  3. Start an in person book club
